Educational Extras
At Scole School we believe that an important part of the school is the provision of ‘Educational Extras’ those things that add to, and enrich, the experiences of the children. In order to achieve this it is our aim that whilst your child is with us they will experience trips, visitors, residential stays, clubs, competitions, productions and events.
During the last year we have included:
- Assemblies from visiting speakers
- A residential visit to Hilltop or Horstead for outdoor and adventurous activities for the oldest children
- Brass, woodwind and recorder lessons
- Football, netball, rounders, cricket, multiskills, cookery, gardening and lace clubs
- Cycling Proficiency for the older pupils
- Sporting competitions – football, netball, basketball, rounders and golf
- A musical performance
- Theatre visits
- Events such as Sports Day
- Church Services at Harvest, Christmas, Easter and at the end of the year
